Log into your Shopify admin, go to Settings (gear icon in the bottom left), and click on Policies. Here you can use Shopify's built-in templates by clicking Create from template under each section, or paste your own custom text for your Refund, Privacy, Terms of Service, and Shipping policies. Click Save.

2
Create a navigation menu link
Online Store settings

Go to Online Store > Navigation. Choose the menu where you want your policies to live (most stores place them in the Footer menu so they don't clutter the main header).

3
Link the policies
Add menu item

Click Add menu item. In the Name field, type what you want customers to see (e.g., Refund Policy). Click inside the Link field, select Policies, and then choose the corresponding policy you saved in Step 1. Click Add, then Save menu.

4
Verify on your storefront
Final Check

Go to your live website, scroll down to the footer, and click on the links to make sure they open your policy pages correctly.

Pro Tip: Shopify's templates are a great starting point, but they contain placeholders in brackets like 100 2nd Ave S Saint Petersburg Florida 33701. Make sure you read through them carefully and replace those brackets with your actual business details before hitting save!
